Artist's Comments
This is a new one for my drawing class... I actually just finished this a few hours ago. I didn't really know what I wanted to draw, so I decided to finally redo "Make Tea, Not War" because it seemed to be a bit more popular than some of my other drawings.
There is a bit of subtle contradiction in this one for humor effect, but that's about it. 18x24 inches... Charcoal. edit** I fanned out the steam a little more, and fixed a little perspective on the cup and table. I would've done more, but the fixative I used refused to let me erase anything. ps... I almost gave up on this one, but I was advised to keep working on it. I'm glad I did. |

Oh yeah, yesterday my Enviromental Geology teacher used the line, "Fighting for peace is like screwing for virginity." I have no idea what it had to do with the class (we were learning about water...) but it thoroughly amused me~
